The 4 Pisac lakes hike takes place very close to the community of Viacha, a region of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, where the cultural immersion in one of the most representative rural communities will provide a better understanding of Andean life and customs.
Due to the geographical variety of this region, there is a considerable change of vegetation, we will go from an altitude of 2900 m to 4300 m in two days, and because of its proximity to the archaeological site of Pisac, the set of lagoons of Marwaycocha has a sacred connection related to many myths and legends. The inhabitants of this area are of Quechua ethnicity, and within this territory, you can find beautiful landscapes full of great cultural and historical richness.
The Sacred Valley has located 32 km from Cusco and is one of the main tourist attractions in Peru. It covers a large part of the Vilcanota River, and the Urubamba River crosses it by the Urubamba River for a distance of 100 km. This valley has located between the towns of Ollantaytambo and Pisac.
DEPARTURE – DAY 1
06:00 am. Pick up at home to go to the town of Pisac.
07:00 am. Pisac.
RETURN – DAY 2
03:00 pm – Pisac.
(We will arrive in Cusco at 04:00 pm aprox).

06:00 am. Pick up at home with private transportation.
07:00 am. Arrival in the town of Pisac.
08:00 am. Arrival to Viacccha. Welcome inside the Inka Wasi lodge.
08:20 am. Breakfast.
09:00 am. Beginning of the tour. We head towards the viewpoint of the first lagoon of the Marwaycocha complex.
11:00 am. Arrival at the viewpoint. Pause to take pictures and appreciate the view. We begin to ascend towards the second lagoon of the group.
Noon. Arrival at the second lagoon. Break for lunch.
02:00 pm. We head towards the pass from where we can observe the third and fourth lagoon of the group.
03:00 pm. Reach the pass. Pause to take pictures and appreciate the view.
03:30 pm. We begin our return to the community of Viacha, where we can rest in the comfortable rooms of the Inka Wasi lodging.
05:00 pm. Reach at Viacha.
05:30 pm. Free time.
07:00 pm. Dinner.
07:00 am. Breakfast.
08:30 am. Traditional Andean Ceremony.
09:30 am. Guided visit to the community museum Inka Wasi, where we can learn about the culture of the community of Viacha history and agriculture.
11:00 am. Beginning of the walk towards the town of Pisac, where you can see on the way some Inca terraces of the archaeological site of Pisac.
01:00 pm. Arrival at Pisac. Lunch break.
02:30 pm Pick up in private transportation.
03:30 pm. Arrival in Cusco.
